Find the love you seek,
by first finding the love within yourself.
Learn to rest in a place with you,
That is your true home.”
– Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
This week is an invitation to reconnect with yourself. In harmony with nature, the fragrant pine forests, endless sandy beaches and the vastness of the ocean, you can dive deeper into your inner world and give yourself time to let go and recharge.
How a day can look like:
We start the day with an activating Vinyasa Flow in the small clearing in the pine forest right next to the lodge. The Morning Class brings breath and body together with flowing movements. This is equally about strengthening and flexibility, which, will also support us when surfing. The focus is on mindful movements and alignment to create a practice that serves you and your body. Following the asana practice, a meditation invites you to dive deeper into silence.
Afterwards we go to breakfast together at the lodge. You can put together a packed lunch for the day from the varied breakfast buffet.
If you are interested, you can join the surf course during the week. The course times depend on the tides and take place throughout the day. If you’re already experienced in surfing, you can also rent equipment and go surfing on your own. Always when possible we enjoy to go surfing together.
If the waves are too wild for you, there are plenty of other things to do, such as walking on the beach, wandering through the pine forests, lying in the sun, exploring the area by bike and finding the best boulangerie or simply reading a book in the garden.
Towards the evening there is a second yoga session – Flow & Release. Here I address what the group needs and mix different elements to create a practice that relaxes, calms and gives new energy.
After a nurturing dinner, with fresh and seasonal veggies we enjoy the evening with a glass of French wine or a cozy cup of tea, exchange experiences or close the day with a small, shared ritual.
One day a week is free, no dinner is planned here. There is the possibility to go on excursions or simply go out for dinner in Vieux.
No matter whether you have been practicing for a long time or whether yoga has just become a part of your life; I am looking forward to welcoming you to the Atlantic Surf Lodge – a beautiful place with a special atmosphere that invites to connect and recharge. Just right for the “Journey to yourself”.

“It was when I stopped searching for home within others
and lifted the foundations of home within myself
I found there were no roots more intimate
than those between a mind and body
that have decided to be whole.”
