The Premium Surf Coaching package with Atlantic Surf Lodge and Rapa Nui Surfcamp is designed for
Intermediate and advanced surfers. The goal is to offer a personalized program that allows you to improve your technique and knowledge to surf green waves.
Gilles Noah offers individual coaching, focusing on turns, timing, positioning and the correct use of your body weight to row independently. We surf on different line ups and explain the respective spots and conditions and point out the risks. Be autonomous in the water and know how to use the equipment safely. During the week, you are encouraged to make your own decisions about what makes you better and faster for more sustainable surfing.
What does a day of „Training Surf“ look like?
During the presentations, individual goals for the week are set and we discuss the
Program and schedule of the week.
. On the first day we check the conditions together, decide what is best and show you the interpretation of the different surf spots and their dangers. After that,
on the way to the waves where we put a lot of emphasis on improving the position on the board in order to paddle green waves more efficiently and reliably (including turn & cutback)
. You will learn to play with the speed of the surfboard in
the wave and improve the timing and line-up rules important for controlled surfing. We accompany you with the video recording and analysis every evening in a relaxed atmosphere.
What is included:
7 nights in dormitory
Healthy and hearty breakfast, if you want, you can prepare a varied lunch – dinner
The kitchen is closed one evening a week. A good reason to have dinner together in a French restaurant or to go out.
1 coaching session per day of approximately 2.5 hours. Gear included (6′ to 9′ boards available)
Coaching for the selection of equipment and spotlights
Surf skate session
Video coaching, video feedback (twice a week) and even photos for each participant
