The ocean is just 800 meters from the Lodge – a quick hop by bike or skateboard (both of which you can borrow for free).

The Atlantic Surf Lodge is at home in Vieux Boucau, on the beautiful French Atlantic coast. Nestled between Bordeaux and Biarritz, the charming coastal town is famous for its endless sandy beaches and world-class beach breaks. While you’ll find waves just as epic as those in the world-renowned spots of Seignosse, Hossegor, or Capbreton (all just a few kilometers away), the lineups in Vieux Boucau are usually much more relaxed. And if you drive just ten minutes north, you’ll likely have the peak all to yourself.

You are looking for a change of pace beyond the surf? Within a few hundred meters of the Lodge, you’ll find a massive skatepark with a bowl, as well as tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts. There’s even a golf club, mini-golf, and a bowling alley nearby. Whatever your vibe, you’re in the heart of the action.
