SUN PRACTICE – LETTING IN
The sun symbolizes the active principle. It’s the life-giving vitalizing force within us. In the SUN PRACTICE we use powerful dynamic Hatha Vinyasa Yoga to cultivate Prana, the universal life energy. The SUN PRACTICE helps you to start your day energized and centered.
HATHA VINYASA YOGA
Hatha Vinyasa Yoga is a powerful yoga style, in which asanas (Yoga postures) are linked together in a dynamic and meditative way by the specific Vinyasa breath called Ujjayi. The Hatha Vinyasa practice includes the practice of Bandhas (energetic locks), mudras (gestures), Drishtis (concentration points) and proper alignment (Alignment). Each day, we focus on another element, which reflects in the SUN & MOON Yoga classes.

MOON PRACTICE – LETTING GO
In MOON PRACTICE the focus is on letting go by using slow movements, conscious exhalations and prolonged holding of asanas. At the physical level we cultivate stability and strength. On the mental level we bring about peace and clarity. By A.G. Mohan’s Yogic Mindfulness and The Heart of Yoga by Mark Whitwell we can dive deeper into the nature of the mind and connect with our essence, untouched by the waves of life as awareness and presence itself, that resides in us. In these sessions you will learn powerful tools, that help you to find YOUR YOGA, that you can practice at home by yourself.
THE HEART OF YOGA
As we said, the HEART OF YOGA is about your own personal practice. These classes are designed to help you to find your own individual yoga routine that fits your individual needs. Here you will learn the basic principles of a personal practice, so that you can integrate them into your everyday life after the trip.
YOGIC MINDFULNESS – LIGHTEN UP YOUR LIFE
YOGIC MINDFULNESS by A.G. and Indra Mohan aims at the personal transformation of the student. All eight limbs of the „Ashtanga Yoga“ defined by Patanjali (Raja Yoga) serve us to reach a pure (sattvic) state by means of practical methods. Yogic Mindfulness helps us to reconsider our habits (samskaras) and, if necessary, to cultivate more benevolent thoughts, words and actions. The more we are aware of our thoughts and feelings, the more conscious decisions we are able to make and the more we can determine our health, our well-being and the experiences we make.
In addition to yoga, there is the option to join the surfing classes organized by the Atlantic Surf Lodge. Here you will get the theoretical basics about the ocean and the waves, but above all the practice of surfing itself. The surfing classes (10h) can be booked directly via ASL (165 €).
If your body needs a rest, you can book the Alchemy of Touch Massage with Ela. She is using deep tissue, joint release and facia techniques to rebalance to energy system in your body and bring peace and tranquility into the mind.
